Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as “Yayi,” is a seasoned Nigerian chartered accountant and politician.
He currently represents Ogun West Senatorial District in the Senate, a position he assumed after a successful tenure representing Lagos West Senatorial District.
Adeola’s political career began in the Lagos State House of Assembly, where he served two terms (2003-2011) and was instrumental in strengthening the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service.
He later moved to the House of Representatives before becoming a Senator. Known for his legislative prowess, particularly in finance and appropriations, he currently chairs the powerful Senate Committee on Appropriations.
His impactful constituency projects and empowerment programs have earned him significant grassroots support.
