The convention had produced Tanimu Turaki as National Chairman, while the opposing faction led by Mohammed AbdulRahman, backed by Nyesom Wike, sought to overturn the outcome.

During Wednesday’s proceedings, the court, led by Justice Biobele Georgewill, inquired about progress in amicable settlement discussions.

Counsel for both factions confirmed ongoing negotiations, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) expressed support for an out-of-court resolution.
