Former Presidents Obasanjo and Babangida held a private 30-minute meeting in Minna, with no statements released about the discussion
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo held a closed-door meeting with former Military President General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) at his Hilltop residence in Minna, the Niger State capital.

Sources at the Ahmed Bola Tinubu International Airport in Minna stated that Obasanjo was escorted from the airport by the Niger State Government protocol to Babangida’s home.
The meeting lasted approximately 30 minutes, after which Obasanjo was conveyed back to the airport under the same official protocol.

No one at Babangida’s residence was willing to comment on the purpose of the visit, and no official statement has been issued regarding the meeting.
