Speaking to reporters in Ibadan, Adesina emphasised the party’s unity, strategic planning, and focus on key development issues as critical to securing victory.
Adesina described the ongoing reconciliation within the Oyo APC as genuine, noting that the progressive family has overcome past divisions.
He highlighted that the party is poised to field a candidate capable of facing a robust challenge, with members ready to mobilise support statewide.
Education, healthcare, agricultural development, and rural integration were identified by Adesina as areas where APC intends to improve governance.
He criticised current administration policies that neglect long-term investment in human capital, stating that infrastructural development must complement, rather than replace, education and health initiatives.
Commenting on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, Adesina praised the economic reforms and strategic governance that have improved federal allocations to states and gradually lowered food prices.
He urged citizens to back Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, citing sustained economic growth and strategic policymaking as reasons for continued support.
Adesina also addressed political representation across Oyo State, insisting that development should be distributed evenly and that all regions should have the opportunity to produce the next governor.
