In a statement by National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba, the Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) expressed concern over prominent members publicly pledging support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next presidential race.

Quoting Section 10 (6) of the PDP Constitution, the NWC reminded members that aligning with rival parties to undermine the PDP is prohibited.

“These actions are causing division, disaffection, and member losses, all of which could erode our electoral fortunes,” the statement read.

The NWC, invoking Section 59 (1), issued a formal reprimand and warned of stiffer sanctions for repeat offenders.
