Tinubu’s 2027 rallies will cover 12 states as APC begins its nationwide campaign in Kaduna on October 24 and ends with a Lagos finale
The All Progressives Congress, APC, has unveiled a proposed campaign timetable for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the President scheduled to lead presidential rallies in 12 states across Nigeria.

The proposed schedule, released on Friday, October 16, 2026, places the opening rally in Kaduna State on October 24, with the nationwide campaign expected to conclude with a grand finale in Lagos State on January 9, 2027.
The timetable covers all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, although Tinubu’s personal appearances are planned for selected locations across the six geopolitical zones.
The proposed campaign is expected to provide the APC with an opportunity to showcase the Tinubu administration’s record, mobilise supporters and strengthen its organisation ahead of the presidential and other elections in 2027.
The 12 locations listed for Tinubu’s presidential campaign appearances are Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Jos, Ibadan, Maiduguri, Enugu, Bauchi, Sokoto, Asaba, Kano, Yola and Lagos.
The first rally is scheduled for Kaduna, Kaduna State, on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Tinubu is then expected to move to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for a rally on Saturday, November 7, followed by Jos, Plateau State, on November 14.
The campaign is scheduled to continue in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 21, before moving to Maiduguri, Borno State, on Wednesday, November 25.
Enugu is listed for November 28, while Bauchi is scheduled for the following day, November 29.
The proposed itinerary then takes the President to Sokoto on Friday, December 4, followed by Asaba, Delta State, on December 12.
Kano is scheduled for December 17, while Yola, Adamawa State, is listed for January 4, 2027.
The campaign will end with the proposed grand finale in Lagos on Saturday, January 9, 2027.
The distribution of the rallies across the country gives the APC a presence in each of Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, reflecting the party’s effort to build a broad national campaign ahead of the 2027 contest.
The proposed timetable also places particular emphasis on several politically significant states, including Rivers, Oyo, Kano, Delta and Lagos, where presidential campaigns could carry considerable political weight.
For the APC, the rallies will form part of a wider mobilisation strategy as the party prepares for the 2027 elections and seeks to consolidate support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The campaign schedule remains a proposed timetable and could be adjusted by the party as preparations progress, particularly as electoral activities, security considerations and local political developments evolve.
The APC’s nationwide campaign is coming against the backdrop of heightened political activity ahead of the 2027 elections, with opposition parties and emerging political coalitions also positioning themselves for the contest.
Tinubu, who was elected President in 2023, is expected to seek a second term in office. His campaign will therefore place significant emphasis on the administration’s policies and achievements while seeking to persuade voters to renew the APC’s mandate.
The proposed rallies will also provide opportunities for the President and party leaders to engage directly with supporters, candidates and stakeholders in different parts of the country.
If implemented as scheduled, the campaign will run for more than two months, beginning in Kaduna on October 24 and ending in Lagos on January 9, shortly before the 2027 electoral season enters its decisive phase.
