The inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, according to a report by Daily Post.
Adeleke’s reported presence at the event follows his inclusion in the APC’s revised Presidential Campaign Council, alongside other prominent political figures.
The revised list reportedly includes Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The council comprises party leaders, governors, ministers and other stakeholders expected to coordinate the ruling party’s campaign activities ahead of the 2027 polls.
Their inclusion has drawn attention because of their respective political positions and affiliations.
The campaign council is expected to play a coordinating role in the APC’s preparations for the next general elections, bringing together political leaders and other stakeholders to support the party’s campaign efforts.
Adeleke’s arrival in Abuja comes as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
