Tinubu’s decisive APC primary victory results show a landslide win as President Bola Tinubu secures 10.99 million votes nationwide
The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has officially declared President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as its presidential candidate following the conclusion of its nationwide primary election held across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

The announcement confirmed a decisive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who polled 10.99 million votes to defeat his sole challenger, Stanley Osifo, who secured 16,504 votes in the contest.
Party officials have described Tinubu’s APC primary victory as a strong endorsement of his leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections.
A breakdown of the results across the federation showed Tinubu recording overwhelming margins in several key states, reflecting broad national support within the party structure.
In Lagos State, President Tinubu secured 814,988 votes, while Kaduna State delivered 618,914 votes in his favour. Kano followed with 500,852 votes, and Katsina contributed 467,003 votes.
Other significant contributions came from Gombe with 450,517 votes, Borno with 414,988 votes, and Delta with 407,646 votes, further strengthening his overall tally.
In the South East, Imo State delivered 582,960 votes, while Enugu recorded 383,382 votes and Anambra contributed 43,034 votes, reflecting varying levels of party support across the region.
The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, recorded 36,103 votes for the President, rounding off the nationwide figures released by the party.
Party insiders described the outcome as a powerful demonstration of internal party cohesion, though the process also drew attention due to the wide margin between the President and his challenger.

APC leadership maintained that the exercise reflected the will of party delegates nationwide and signalled strong momentum ahead of the next general election cycle.
