“The APC remains united, focused, and prepared to deepen democratic values while advancing the development agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Haske said, describing the gathering as a defining moment for the party in the North-East.
The congress, hosted by Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, elected Barr. Idris Shaibu Gella as National Vice Chairman for the North-East Zone.
High-profile attendees included Governors Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), and Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa), Deputy Governor of Borno State, Umar Usman Kadafur, and Deputy National Chairman of APC, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori.
Haske noted that the enthusiastic reception from delegates and grassroots supporters – including chants of “Haske Maganin Duhu” and “Haske Is Okay” underscores his rising political profile ahead of the Adamawa governorship contest.
