Lagos APC mourns the death of Assistant Publicity Secretary Karamo Yesiro, praising his dedication, loyalty, and service to the party
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has announced the death of its Assistant Publicity Secretary, Karamo Yesiro, a day after he was re-elected at the state congress held at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan.

The party described Yesiro’s passing as a “painful and tragic loss” at a time when his energy, commitment, and passion for progressive politics were most needed.
In a statement, Publicity Secretary Seye Oladejo said: “Having just been entrusted with the responsibility of serving in the State Executive Council, he embodied dedication, loyalty, and an unwavering belief in the ideals of our party.”
Oladejo added that Yesiro’s tenure, though cut tragically short, left a lasting impression on colleagues and members alike.
“He was a vibrant party man whose contributions to the growth and stability of the APC in Lagos State will not be forgotten,” he said.
The Lagos APC extended condolences to Yesiro’s immediate family, political associates, friends, and supporters, praying that God grants them strength to bear the loss and grants Yesiro eternal rest.

“The Lagos APC stands united in mourning this painful departure. Hon. Karamo Yesiro will be remembered for his service, commitment, and belief in the progressive cause,” the statement concluded.
