APC Rivers by-election wins confirmed as Gov. Siminalayi Fubara hails Ukalikpe Napoleon and Henrietta Bulabari for their popular victories
Siminalayi Fubara has described the victories of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates Ukalikpe Napoleon and Henrietta Bulabari in Saturday’s Rivers State by-elections as well-deserved, citing their popularity in their respective constituencies.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted the by-elections to fill two vacant seats in the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Napoleon emerged victorious in Ahoada East State Constituency, while Bulabari clinched the Khana State Constituency II seat, defeating candidates from other political parties.
Fubara, in a statement issued on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Onwuka Nzeshi, congratulated the candidates, noting that the victories reflected the confidence of the people in their leadership capabilities.
“It is the beauty of democracy. When the people believe in your capacity, they will give you their votes,” the governor said. “I look forward to working with them and their colleagues in the State House of Assembly.”
The governor also commended the residents of the two constituencies for their peaceful conduct before, during, and after the elections, describing the process as a demonstration of civic responsibility and democratic maturity.

The by-election outcomes strengthen the APC’s position in the Rivers State House of Assembly and are seen as an endorsement of the party’s leadership and policies in the region.
