According to Kola Olabisi, the PDP lawmakers misrepresented the status of local government leadership in Osun State, ignoring court rulings that reinstated APC chairmen and councillors.
The APC highlighted that:
The Court of Appeal ruling on February 10, 2025, reinstated the lawful council officials.
The Supreme Court decision in December 2025 clarified the legal status of council leadership.
Security agencies were acting within constitutional limits to maintain order.
The party stressed that political endorsements and votes of confidence in Governor Ademola Adeleke do not override judicial pronouncements. Directing federal allocations to officials not recognized by the courts would undermine the rule of law.
