Prof Adeniyi talks on where he analysed the outcome of the PDP national convention held in Abuja.
He argued that Wike’s alignment with the ruling APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which he said dates back to 2023, has become more pronounced and stabilised over time.
According to him, this development is influencing internal dynamics within the opposition party.
Adeniyi suggested that the situation could weaken the PDP’s competitiveness ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing the evolving political alignment as a factor that may limit the party’s electoral strength.
He further stated that Wike’s political posture indicates a preference for supporting President Tinubu, adding that this stance is not concealed and appears consistent with his recent political engagements.
