During the strategy session, Kwankwaso emphasized unity, hard work, and strategic expansion, highlighting the need for members to operate with “one mind” to capture electoral victories both at the state and national levels.
“I want to encourage you to work hard to ensure unity within the party. Let’s build on the progress from 2023 to secure victory in 2027,” he stated.
Kwankwaso expressed gratitude for the leadership of Barr. Tony Odey, the NNPP State Chairman, and praised the recent developments in party infrastructure.
These include the unveiling of a new state secretariat in Calabar and office spaces across local government areas in the Northern Senatorial Zone.
“We are so happy with the leadership of the party in Cross River. The new offices are signs of serious commitment and readiness,” Kwankwaso added.
Barr. Odey described Kwankwaso’s visit as a morale booster, calling it a catalyst for renewed energy and planning:
“We have assembled stakeholders from various sectors to chart a path forward. Your guidance will enrich our mission,” he said.
Odey also acknowledged the Contact Committee, led by Alhaji Ahmed Bitchi, for donating an official vehicle and providing the party with quality office accommodation, calling them sources of envy to rival political parties.
Odey Nyambi, NNPP’s Publicity Secretary in Cross River, expressed confidence in the party’s future, assuring supporters that with continued engagement and strategic groundwork, NNPP will secure victories in 2027.
“The national leader has shown real commitment. Cross River is ready to deliver results,” Nyambi affirmed.
