APC Chieftain Alwan Warns of Disloyalty to Tinubu

APC chieftain Alwan Tinubu loyalty claims spark concern as he alleges governors and ministers lack true commitment to the president’s agenda

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Hassan Alwan, has raised concerns over what he described as a lack of genuine loyalty among some governors and ministers within the ruling party toward President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, Alwan alleged that while several top officials publicly express support for the president, their actions suggest otherwise.

He claimed that their commitment to the administration’s agenda appears superficial rather than sincere.

The APC chieftain Alwan Tinubu loyalty remarks come amid growing discussions about internal cohesion within the ruling party.

Alwan suggested that some party leaders are more focused on personal political ambitions ahead of future elections than on advancing the administration’s policy direction, including the Renewed Hope agenda.

He warned that such perceived disloyalty could pose a risk to party unity if left unaddressed, potentially affecting the APC’s performance in upcoming electoral contests.

According to him, sustained internal divisions could weaken collective efforts needed to achieve governance objectives.

Alwan urged stakeholders within the party to prioritise unity and align their actions with the broader goals of the administration.

He emphasised the importance of setting aside individual interests in favour of collective progress and stability within the party structure.
