APC First-Term Governors Meet in Kebbi to discuss national issues, party affairs, governance and strategies for sustainable development
First-term governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have gathered in Kebbi State for a closed-door meeting focused on governance, party affairs and national development priorities.

The APC First-Term Governors’ Meeting is being held at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, where the governors are expected to exchange ideas on strengthening cooperation among states and advancing the party’s policy objectives.
The meeting was hosted by Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, who received his colleagues alongside Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Abubakar Atiku Bagudu upon their arrival at the venue.
Among the governors attending the meeting are those from Kaduna, Plateau, Ekiti, Delta, Zamfara, Kano, Jigawa, Ebonyi, Edo, Ondo, Kogi, Sokoto and Benue states, among others.
The discussions are expected to focus on key national issues, including improving intergovernmental relations, promoting economic growth and enhancing the delivery of public services across the states.
Party development strategies and ways to strengthen the APC’s governance agenda are also expected to form part of the deliberations.
The meeting comes as APC governors continue to seek greater coordination among state administrations amid ongoing economic and political challenges.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum is expected to address journalists and provide details on the outcomes of the discussions.
