CDD Director Dauda Garuba said in an interview on Arise Television that the calm during the polls over the weekend was linked to fewer voters, which limited opportunities for conflict.
He highlighted that in some polling units, such as in Kuje, only two out of 1,168 registered voters had cast ballots early in the day.
Garuba noted that residents were initially engaged in morning activities before eventually voting later.
